GRANTS

The Montana Veterans Association Foundation (MVAF) was created to educate, support and promote organizations and causes working to directly benefit the lives of Montana veterans and their families.

We do not fund individuals outside of our scholarship or fellowship program. From time to time we do fund 501c3 organizations or causes that our Board finds worthy.

If you are a nonprofit organization that needs funding for a project or program that meets this mission, we accept grant applications at any time.

Our Grant Committee meets twice per year to consider all grant requests.

All grant solicitations must be submitted in writing with the following information:

• Legal name & federal tax ID number of your organization

• Contact information for your organization

• Full name of all officers and directors of your organization

• Executive summary of the project or program (no more than 500 words)

• A description of how your project/program fits into our mission

• A description of matching donors or sustainability.

• A description how the money will create impact and return on investment.
